Entranced (The Donovan Legacy #2)

Summary:

Obviously psychic Sebastian Donovan was a fraud, but fiercely protective Mary Ellen Sutherland was desperate to find a missing baby and had run out of leads. So, reluctantly, the skeptical private investigator agreed to enlist Sebastian's help. Soon she had to admit - grudgingly - that this man had some pretty remarkable gifts. Especially his extraordinary ability to penetrate her tough facade and awaken her heart. (Summary and cover courtesy of goodreads.com)

Review:

I was a little dubious about the principle of a psychic, but it was an interested application that worked well with the characters.  Mary Ellen is a sparkplug who isn’t afraid to do what it takes to get the job done.  I like her self-reliance and that she has created a happy setup for herself that fits her interests and skills.

Sebastian is somewhat a know-it-all (how can you not be as a psychic) and it was also good to see him put in his place as Mel can block him.  This book is intertwined with some mystery and a good old stakeout that I’d highly recommend.

Warning: Contains sexual content.
