Review:
This was actually a book that I picked up accidentally, but I am so glad I did. As the first in a classic romance series (where each book pairs off another characters) it creates a solid foundation of an incredible family in a very unique town. Abby has been running from her past and now it’s time for her to come home where naturally fireworks start with her high school sweetheart.
Chase has woven together the classic elements of a romance book, but paired it with some very practical modern elements that make the series feel fresh. I particularly love the small magical elements woven into the story in a natural way. Not only is there amazing romance, but there is plenty of humor to keep the book from feeling heavy. This would be a great series to binge if you’re looking for some quick “candy bar” books!
