Review:

This was a book that was more of a light suspense that was entertaining but didn’t necessarily result in compulsive reading desperately trying to find out what happened.  The characters are solid and the premise was very intriguing, but I didn’t love how it unraveled.  The strongest part of the story was definitely the relationship of the sisters and I wish there had been time to see it explored further.

I did like the way the book explored the various parts of Paris and the imagery that came as she explores the underground.  The last 20% I was more motivated to find out the grand reveal and pushed it through, but ultimately, I didn’t feel a strong connection to the characters and it wasn’t a lasting book for me.

Warning: Contains repeated violence.

Rating: 3 stars!
